Red dot mount, 1911, great item

A little filing and it fit like a mitt, the people at this company are top notch, I would recommend dealing with them.

Support/adaptator red dot sight

It is well made, the red dot sight mounts well, but for the price paid, I regret that the dovetail is a different dimension of 1mm than on the Colt 1911 slide and requires re-machining and adjustment for fit.

Installation of red dot mount is done by removing the rear sight and replacing it with the mount in the dovetail cut.
