Spotting scopes

This collection contains spotting scopes from Vector Optics. A spotting scope lets you see your hits on the target without walking to it. Hunters use it to observe game at long distance. All models here come with a tripod.

The models

• Paragon 8-24x50 ED Ultra Short: 8x to 24x magnification, 50 mm ED objective. Weight 673 g.
• Paragon 9-27x56 ED Ultra Short: 9x to 27x magnification, 56 mm ED objective. Weight 729 g.

How to choose

To see bullet holes on paper at 100 m, a magnification of about 20x is a typical minimum. For longer distances, more magnification helps. The Forester Liberty reaches 60x. The Paragon models are ultra short and light, with ED glass for a sharper image. They have a larger exit pupil at low magnification (6.2 mm), which gives a brighter image in low light. The Paragon models suit target shooting, birding and wildlife viewing. All models are nitrogen filled against fogging.
