Sights for Smith & Wesson models

Smith & Wesson's semi-auto sight fitment centres on the M&P M2.0, sold in standard, Optics Ready (OR) and C.O.R.E. (Competitor Optics Ready Equipment) versions, each needing a different sight height. The budget-line SD9 VE and SD40 VE share their own separate dovetail. Revolver sights are listed separately again, since a revolver's fixed sight base has nothing in common with a semi-auto slide dovetail.

M&P M2.0: three different sight heights

A standard M&P M2.0 slide takes a fixed-height sight; the C.O.R.E. version - S&W's competition-oriented optics-ready cut - and the general Optics Ready (OR) M2.0 both sit taller to co-witness with a mounted red dot, but the two cuts are not identical to each other, so confirm which one your slide carries before ordering.
