This collection contains optic plates for the FN 509 OR. The plate goes into the factory optic cut of the slide and takes the red dot on top. Every plate is made for one footprint or a group of footprints, so you choose it by the footprint of your red dot.

Installation
Remove the cover plate from the optic cut, put the plate in and screw the red dot onto it. Use threadlocker on every screw. No milling and no gunsmith are needed.

Can I install an optic plate on my FN 509 OR at home?
Yes. You need no gunsmith and no milling.
Remove the cover plate from the optic cut.
Screw the optic plate into the cut.
Screw the red dot onto the plate.
Put a drop of threadlocker on every screw.
Which red dots will fit my FN 509 OR?
It depends on the plate you choose. For the FN 509 OR we have plates for the Shield RMSc footprint. Choose your red dot, find its footprint in the specifications and take the plate with the same footprint.
My FN 509 has no optic cut. What do I need?
A red dot mount instead of a plate. It goes into the rear sight dovetail in place of the rear sight. See Red dot mounts for FN 509.
