This collection contains an optic plate for the FN 509 Optics Ready (OR). The plate goes into the factory optic cut and takes a red dot with the Shield RMSc footprint. It is made by Shield Sights.
Which red dots fit
The plate takes red dots with the Shield RMSc footprint. This footprint is common on compact pistol red dots. If your red dot uses another footprint, a footprint adapter may help. See Footprint adapters.
Installation
Remove the factory cover plate from the optic cut. Screw the optic plate into its place, then screw the red dot onto the plate. No milling is needed and you can do it yourself. Threadlocker on the screws is recommended.
