Direct-fit models

Some models are made for one optic cut and need no plate: Vector Optics Frenzy 1x16x21 for Glock MOS (Glock MOS), Vector Optics Frenzy 1x20x24 for CZ Shadow 2 OR (CZ Shadow 2 Optics Ready) and Vector Optics Frenzy FA 1x16x24 for Walther PDP 2.0 (Walther PDP 2).

Features

• Solar power: Solar power keeps the dot lit from light and saves the battery. Models: Vector Optics Frenzy Plus 1x22x32 and Vector Optics Frenzy-X 1x19x26 MRS GenII Solar Power Multi-Reticle.
• Titanium housing: A titanium housing is stronger than aluminium. Models: Vector Optics Frenzy-X 1x19x28 GenII Titanium.
• Enclosed housing: An enclosed housing keeps rain, mud and dust away from the LED. Models: VictOptics SRD 1x23x33 Four-Reticle red dot sight.

Mounting

On a pistol with a factory optic cut, the red dot goes on an optic plate with the same footprint. On a pistol without optic cut, it goes on a red dot mount in place of the rear sight. See Optics ready plates and Red dot mounts.

Frequently asked questions

Can I put a Vector Optics red dot on my pistol?

Yes, if there is a plate or mount for your pistol with the same footprint as the red dot. Each red dot names its footprint in the table above and in its description.

Can I install the red dot myself?

Yes. Screw it onto the plate or mount with the screws that come with it. Put a drop of threadlocker on each screw and tighten it to the torque given by the maker.

Open or enclosed red dot?

An enclosed red dot keeps rain and dirt away from the LED. An open red dot is lighter and smaller. Enclosed models here: VictOptics SRD 1x23x33 Four-Reticle red dot sight.
