This mount works as a replacement of the rear sight in the dovetail cut. Screws and mounting pins are included.

Made in UK by Shield Sights. Made of aluminium.

*If your revolver is not drilled and tapped this mount will not work. The best way to verify if it is drilled and tapped is to open the cylinder and check the rib underneath. There should be through holes that are drilled and tapped. If there are not such holes (like the image), then this mount will not work without you having the gun drilled and tapped. You can have a competent and qualified gunsmith drill and tap the top strap with the standard S&W hole pattern which will allow you to use our mount.*

Installation of red dot mount is done by removing the rear sight and replacing it with the mount in the dovetail cut.

We recommend visiting a gunsmith with the installation.

Perfect fit

I was a bit worried after reading bad reviews about fitting.
Mine is absolutely perfect. Screws are spot on. I took my time to properly install the plate handle fitting the red dot screws as recommended.
Degrease, Loctite and 48 h drying.
I passed 700 9mm NATO without any loosing screws.
When using Irons sight, it shoot wayyyyyyy High. Unusable iron.
I’m really pleased with this item.
