I have had my Optics Spot mount for ~ 3 weeks, but have not yet purchased a red dot for my Sig 229. I purchased the Optics Spot mount because I recently purchased An Optics Spot mount and Holosun Red Dot for my daughter's pistol. I was very impressed with the precision of that mount and the ease of installation so bought this second mount for my Sig. I'm confident that I'll be just as pleased with this mount.
The website was misleading because the plate was not compatible with the optic that I got however the company was very quick to rectify their mistake. They gave me options to get a full refund or make some minor work to the plate myself for a partial refund. It was very easy working with Optics Spot. They processed and shipped my order very quickly.

You need to provide longer mounting screws. The hex screws provided are wrong for the application. Dropped a Z pin on a concrete floor and only God knows where it is now.
